Teacher of Small Groups – SEND
Milk Education are recruiting for a teacher of small groups (4-6 students) for an SEND School in Kirkby, Liverpool who cater for students aged 3-19 with ASC, SEMH, ADHD, and complex needs.
You'll be joining an inclusive and supportive school, focused on diversity and promoting a loving academic environment for those with additional needs.
This is an exciting role for an experienced educator to join a fantastic school to support pupils in reaching their potential
Role & Responsibilities:
* Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
* Teach pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual needs
* Work with small groups of children or on a one to one basis to help them understand how to regulate their behaviour
* Work as part of a team who share an empathy for students with special educational needs
* Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with Special Needs OR experience in a transferable industry; to include but not exclusive to: policing, armed forces, care, performing, sporting or the UK justice system
* A minimum degree level qualification (ideally holding QTS) with 6 months of teaching experience
