Our client, who provides compliance support to a range of firms across the UK, is looking for an Assistant Compliance Administrator to join their team.
This role plays a key part in supporting both the data management process during client filing periods and broader business administration tasks throughout the year. The filing periods are busy and fast-paced, so we're looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and confident in clear communication under pressure.
You will help the team stay on track by managing schedules, client data, and internal tools, making a significant difference in daily operations.
This is a remote role; however, you would be required to attend the London office at least once per quarter for team meetings.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:30pm.
Key Responsibilities
1. Filing Period - Data Management Support
2. Assist with preparing and sending client scheduling emails
3. Send client returns and working files via email or specific data transfer platforms
4. Download and save incoming data
5. Chase clients for outstanding data, feedback, and approvals
6. Support data entry into internal trackers (e.g., Smartsheet)
7. Help set up client folders in iDeals and populate relevant checklists
8. Assist the Compliance Administrator in providing daily updates to the team
1. Business Administration
2. Support logging of holidays and overtime
3. Help with booking internal meetings, client calls, and lunch arrangements
4. Assist during board meetings and management sessions
5. Support internal housekeeping and ad hoc admin tasks
6. Enter invoice data into Xero and assist with monthly invoice checks
Skills and Experience
* Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
* Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel) and internal systems (training provided)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proactive communication skills, especially when chasing data or flagging issues
* Interest in team administration or client support roles
