We are recruiting for anInformation Governance Officerto join a team to provide a risk-based approach to information governance across the group. This role is ideal for someone with a background ensuring legislation and associated frameworks are being adhered to and requests are responded to promptly.
Responsibilities for this Information Governance Officer role
* Work across the group to provide best practice in Information Governance and Management.
* Drive improvements to policies, procedures, processes and working practices in Information Governance and the wider group.
* Deliver data protection and Information Governance training.
* Manage information requests made within the organisation such as SARs, GDPR etc.
* Assist in the creation and maintenance of high-quality products for all data processing activities.
Experience Required
1. Strong knowledge of Data Protection and Information Management practices and legislation and their application in the workplace.
2. Strong knowledge of GDPR and compliance criteria.
3. Strong experience managing information requests.
