Community Short Breaks Support Worker – Buckinghamshire £15.50 - £16.00 per hour Weekend & School Holiday Work | Fun, Active Role Looking for a rewarding, energetic role where you can make a real difference? We’re recruiting Support Workers to join a Community Short Breaks service supporting children and young people aged 0–19 with disabilities and additional learning needs across Buckinghamshire. This is a brilliant opportunity to be part of something meaningful — helping children have fun, build confidence, make friends, and enjoy exciting activities while giving families a well-earned break. What You’ll Be Doing • Supporting children and young people in group and 1:1 sessions • Taking part in fun community activities, days out, and venue-based sessions • Encouraging independence, confidence, and social skills • Supporting communication, wellbeing, and positive behaviour • Helping with personal care where needed • Keeping young people safe and supported at all times • Working closely with a friendly, supportive team What We’re Looking For • A positive, caring, and energetic approach • Passion for working with children and young people • Experience in care, education, youth work, or SEND (desirable but not essential) • Good teamwork and communication skills • Flexibility to work weekends and school holidays • A calm, patient, and reliable attitude What’s in It for You?
