Job: Tax Accountant

About the role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Tax Accountant to join a growing accountancy practice in Swansea. This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone looking to develop their tax career in a dynamic and client‑focused environment. You will be working across a range of tax areas and engaging directly with clients to provide tailored advice and support.
Key Responsibilities
Depending on your level of experience, your day‑to‑day work may include:
* Preparing corporation tax and personal tax returns
* Working on estate planning and trusts
* Preparing tax returns for partnerships
* Responding to client tax queries via phone and email
* Assisting with ad‑hoc tax projects and planning work
Key Requirements
* At least 2 years' experience in a tax‑focused accountancy role
* ATT or CTA, part‑qualified, fully qualified, or qualified by experience (QBE)
* Strong communication skills and confident client interaction
* A full UK driving licence (travel between offices required)
* Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
* Experience with Xero and Sage is advantageous
* Experience with CHH software is also beneficial
