Join CGI as an Electrical Engineer.
You will be responsible for planned electrical maintenance of commercial buildings and data centres. The role involves small project and installation works, with travel between locations on a weekly basis. A vehicle will be provided, and occasional travel to other CGI offices may be required. The position also requires flexibility to operate at unsociable hours and participate in a 1 in 4 on-call rota.
Knowledge of H&S practices and the ability to work in a lively office environment with minimal disruption are essential.
Your future duties and responsibilities
* Perform electrical maintenance, reactive repairs, and installations, including minor works outside electrical scope (fabric, mechanical, carpentry).
* Install, maintain, modify, repair, and troubleshoot faults in line with BS 2391 standards.
* Manage documentation and service sheets, ensuring correct completion and upload to CAFM system.
* Manage workload to meet SLA requirements.
Required qualifications
* Good knowledge of HVAC equipment and systems.
* Flexible approach to work hours and roles.
* Understanding of L8 duties.
* Ability to work independently with good time management.
* Availability for overtime.
* Valid full driving license.
* Proficiency in PC use, including Microsoft Office.
Health & Safety
* Good understanding of H&S reporting and hazard recognition.
* First aid and asbestos awareness.
* Ability to obtain SC clearance due to security requirements.
