About the Role:
The role combines a strong research culture with excellence in teaching. The Faculty is the largest at ARU, with over 8,000 students worldwide, covering disciplines including engineering, architecture, animal sciences, psychology, life sciences, and computing. The faculty is committed to gender equality, holding an Athena SWAN Silver Award.
As Head of School for Engineering & the Built Environment and a member of the Faculty Executive Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans, expanding student numbers, forging external partnerships, and enhancing TEF outcomes.
You should have an academic background in engineering, architecture, surveying, or a related field, with experience leading disciplines within Engineering and the Built Environment, and a proven track record in developing market-responsive courses with strong student outcomes.
The ideal candidate will possess deep understanding of TEF and REF processes, along with leadership and management experience at a similar level, and the ability to foster collaboration and interdisciplinary work.
