Town Planner
We are a well‑established growing consultancy based in Rugby offering an excellent opportunity for a Town Planner. The role spans a diverse portfolio of projects, focusing on commercial and rural developments.
The Role
You will be involved in a broad range of planning activities, supporting projects from initial appraisal through to submission and delivery. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals
* Providing planning advice to clients across commercial and rural projects
* Managing project timelines and liaising with stakeholders
* Supporting senior team members on complex planning schemes
* Conducting site appraisals and planning research
Requirements
* Previous experience in a Town Planning role (private or public sector considered)
* Ideally MRTPI Chartered (or working towards)
* Strong knowledge of UK planning policy and regulations
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Location and Working Style
* Based in Rugby
* Primarily office‑based, with some flexibility available
