The Role
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading mechanical building services designs from concept through to completion. You will work closely with clients, design teams and contractors to develop innovative, sustainable and commercially viable engineering solutions.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Leading the mechanical design and delivery of projects across all RIBA stages.
* Producing calculations, specifications, reports and technical documentation.
* Coordinating with multidisciplinary design teams.
* Attending client, contractor and design team meetings.
* Managing project programmes and technical deliverables.
* Mentoring and supporting junior engineers.
* Developing low-carbon and energy-efficient design solutions.
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
