Creative Therapist Drama or Play Therapist
We are seeking a creative therapist (Play, Drama, and Music) to work with looked after children (CLA) in the Hull CAMHS CLA team.
Our service provides therapeutic interventions to children and young people who are looked after, focusing on attachment difficulties and developmental trauma. The successful applicant will join a dedicated CLA Service within the Hull CAMHS team, with opportunities for professional development and support from experienced clinicians and creative therapists.
The role may be suitable for a Band 6 to Band 7 development level.
Main duties of the job
* Provide advanced assessments and therapeutic interventions within your scope of practice.
* Prepare comprehensive written reports for the multidisciplinary team following assessments and interventions.
* Participate in complex decision-making regarding therapeutic approaches for children, young people, and their carers.
* Work autonomously and collaboratively within the MDT, offering consultation and support to other agencies such as social services.
* Facilitate reflective practice sessions and contribute to systemic thinking within networks supporting looked after children and care leavers.
* Contribute to service evaluation, audits, and development projects.

Experience
* Experience working in the relevant clinical field.

Qualifications and Knowledge
* Current HPC registration and British Association of Art Therapists registration.
* Advanced understanding of clinical practice standards and protocols.
* Knowledge of relevant policies, legislation, and their application.
