JOB : Sales Engineer
LOCATION : Stoke
TERM: Permanent
SALARY : GBP 35,000: GBP 45,000, dependent on experience
My client is a specialist manufacturer within the thermal process solution industries. They are looking for a Sales Engineer to join their team in Stoke on a permanent basis.
The Sales Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
: An educational or hands:on background in Engineering
: Experienced in/knowledge of thermal process solution industries would be ideal
: Technical Mechanical Engineering knowledge to understand quotations and queries
: Confident using SolidWorks CAD software to create sketches and be involved with design changes
: Previous experience supporting customers in a similar technical / sales role would be beneficial
: Excellent customer:service skills and a passion for sales
: Confident and driven for career progression
: Excellent communication skills are required
: Be self:motivated and driven
: Be keen to develop as part of an organisation long term
The Sales Engineer role will involve:
: Identifying, maintaining and developing sales opportunities for the company
: Providing technical support and supporting technical delivery of the company's products and services
: Account Management of existing clients
: Handling queries and providing quotations to progress further sales opportunities
: Visiting customer sites and attending exhibitions when required
: Upselling and developing relationships
: Using SolidWorks to create, develop and work off sketches
: Working with the Projects Team to convert client requirements into details designs and technical instructions
: Processing purchase orders onto the MRP system
: Excellent opportunities for training and development, with room to progress within the company
