The Role
As a Product Developer, you’ll take the lead in the design, development, and improvement of qualifications and assessment products across the organisation’s portfolio. You will:

Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop and maintain qualifications that align with industry standards and regulatory frameworks.

Ensure all products meet Ofqual General Conditions, and other EPAO and awarding body compliance requirements including those from DfE and Skills England.

Develop detailed project plans, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure delivery of high-quality outputs.
*
Produce key qualification documentation such as assessment strategies, centre guides, and sample assessment materials.
*
Use data to analyse qualification performance and drive continuous improvement.
*
Identify opportunities to expand provision and respond to emerging skills needs in the market.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will bring both strategic thinking and hands-on expertise in qualification design. You will have:

Experience working within an EPAO, awarding body, or similar education setting.
*
Strong understanding of qualification and assessment development processes.
*
Proven project management skills, ideally supported by APM-PMQ or PRINCE2 certification.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*
Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.

The ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
