We are looking to recruit a Co-ordinator – Physical Activity & Play to join our expanding Wellbeing Centre Service. As the council’s lead service for delivering and developing physical activity opportunities; you will work closely with the management team to ensure that the service maximizes its contribution to improving the health and wellbeing of the county’s residents.
Leading a team of 4 Physical Activity & Play Development Officers and an instructor, you will identify gaps in our current provision and co-ordinate the design and delivery of new opportunities to fill them. You will also identify how we can improve our current provision such as the Play programme and the Young Leaders programme. Your role will also involve supporting organisations such as town & community councils and community sports clubs to maximise their contribution to the delivery of Sport & Play across the county.
We want to provide opportunities that encourage the residents of Ceredigion to become healthy and active and to embed those principles into their everyday lives. You will work closely with the Co-ordinator Health Interventions and our Wellbeing Hubs staff to achieve this.
We are looking for an innovative and energetic individual who has the ability, knowledge, and personal qualities to be a key member of our Wellbeing Centre Service.
