Hayley Dexis has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Internal Sales Executive to join our well-established and experienced team based at our Seaham branch. This is a full-time, permanent role with a competitive salary and a range of benefits. Hayley Dexis is the largest independent distributor of engineering products and consumables (hydraulics, bearings, fasteners, fluid power, PPE, tools, lubricants etc) in the UK. Responsibilities
* Respond to incoming enquiries and customer queries and process orders.
* Be the face of the trade counter, providing expert knowledge and assistance to walk-in customers.
* Proactively follow up on outstanding customer enquiries, prepare accurate quotations, and look for opportunities to upsell and add value.
* Collaborate with team members and contribute to a fast-paced environment.
* Work with internal sales processes and maintain strong customer service standards.
What We're Looking For In Our Internal Sales Executive
* Knowledge of MRO/Engineering products is ideal, but full training will be provided.
* Prior internal sales experience or experience within a customer service / administrative environment.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Self-motivated, with strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Background in engineering or manufacturing is preferred but cross-over sectors will be considered.
