The Social team is positioned under DDA’s wider Creative Services division - focused on delivering best-in-class creative communications. This role will be sat within the UK-based Social offering, through our Brand and Entertainment teams.


The Role

You’ll be highly knowledgeable in the digital space and an innovative thinker with a get-it-done attitude. You combine creative prowess and experience, as well as demonstrate the skills to stay organized and calm under pressure. Additionally, you will show impeccable attention to detail and an ability to maintain quality of output, while working at a fast and consistent pace.

You will be responsible for ideating, planning and publishing social content across various client platforms. You should be confident and comfortable with being the voice of the industry’s biggest brands and titles on social media. You should also act as a strategic thought‑leader for clients, understanding the technology and language of social media platforms, and have a vision for their creative potential.

Additionally, you must enjoy working with people and be able to communicate clearly to keep daily output in step with the larger vision of the campaign. You will be expected to communicate with clients often, maintaining a strong and friendly relationship during and after the project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

* ● Be integral to crafting and executing first‑rate, original social campaigns for our roster of clients.
* ● Support Head of Social and Social Director to take initiative to reach out to prospective clients as well as pitch new ideas for upcoming campaigns and be an active brainstorming partner to Social Director and Creative Leads.
* ● Be comfortable with presenting creative ideas to clients and responding to feedback in real time.
* ● Be able to problem solve independently, manage more than one project at a time, and stay calm in high pressure situations.
* ● Develop and implement social strategy for all key channels per campaign/project, with oversight from Social Director.
* ● Line manage and mentor junior team members, fostering their professional growth and ensuring the quality of their output meets DDA standards.
* ● Responsible for day‑to‑day client and account management, delivery of creative assets and social media services.
* ● Ideation of social content and working alongside our inhouse or freelance design team, briefing and managing the creation of social media assets.
* ● Plan and manage content calendars with junior members and oversee scheduling of content, captions and community management that aligns with platform best practice and the tone of voice of brand/project.
* ● Responsible for the accuracy and quality control of content plans, channel management and content creation with best practice, grammatical and spelling accuracy and innovative content.
* ● Capturing and creating social media content with native platform tools and apps.
* ● Be overall point of client contact on your accounts and build relationship with client as a trusted advisor.
* ● Responsible for social media reporting on your campaigns/retainers, and compiling social listening reports.
* ● Keep up to date with social media platform news and social media trends, ensuring you always follow best practice and being able to identify relevant opportunities for our clients.


Skills & Experience

* ● 5+ years of experience at an agency or comparable social marketing role, managing social channels, developing social strategy and ideating social content (primarily static and short/long form video).
* ● Entertainment industry experience and a passion for cultivating fandoms on social is a must.
* ● Proven ability for storytelling, whether for a brand or campaign, and aligning this to an audience‑first approach.
* ● Prior experience managing direct reports or leading small project teams in an agency environment.
* ● Proven ability to manage project budgets effectively, ensuring high‑quality delivery without over‑servicing.
* ● Deep knowledge of the social media industry, platforms and best practices.
* ● A comprehensive understanding of native platform analytics such as Meta Business Manager, YouTube Studio, TikTok and X, and social media listening tools (i.e Meltwater).
* ● Content creation skills a plus, through native social tools and apps.
* ● Experience collaborating with paid media and influencer teams to deliver integrated social campaigns.
* ● On the pulse with trends, pop‑culture moments and internet culture.
* ● Experience liaising and developing relationships with clients.
* ● Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and excellent attention to detail.
* ● Proactive and intuitive, with strong organisational skills and ability to multitask to meet multiple deadlines across a variety of projects.
* ● A team player but also able to work independently.
* ● A strong creative instinct, with the ability to translate insight into platform‑native idea.


Additional Information

* We offer hybrid working with 2 x days working from the office (Tuesdays and Thursdays) and 3 x days from home. DDA reserves the right to amend this policy at any time.
