We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Officer (FTC) to join our team and support the Head of Business Development in delivering our growth strategy through organic growth, new service launches, and business acquisition.
As a Business Development Specialist, you will research, identify, and pursue new opportunities, develop relationships with stakeholders, and create growth strategies. The role involves expanding our service base and achieving revenue targets. The ideal candidate is proactive, results-oriented, with experience in business development, especially with Local Authorities, HSCPs, or similar public sector organizations, as well as private and third sector organizations.

Requirements:
1. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
2. Degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or related field
3. Experience in business development or sales support roles
4. Strong organizational and time management skills
5. Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office/SharePoint
6. Detail-oriented with multitasking abilities
7. Ability to work independently and in teams
8. Experience working with disabled people
9. Business and financial acumen
10. Enthusiasm for improving the lives of disabled people
Additional information:
This is a fixed-term position until 31st March 2026. We support work/life balance and are open to flexible start and finish times. Applicants should be within commuting distance of the central belt and able to travel across Scotland. A driver’s license and access to a vehicle are essential due to travel requirements.
