Were looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and fun Personal Assistant / Carer to join the support team of a sociable, ambitious and active male client in Denmead.
Hes a business owner with a degree in Graphic Design and a Masters in Visual Communication. Hes also an England Boccia athlete and a Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme Representative.
A few words from our client:
I have Athetoid Cerebral Palsy and use a powered wheelchair. I live life to the full
whether thats working, competing in Boccia, or going to the theatre. Im looking for someone to support me in living independently, while enjoying what we do together along the way.

What the role involves:
Assisting with personal care
Working at least two evenings a week (typically 16:0022:00, but can vary)
Supporting at least one weekend a month, including overnight stays or travel (e.g. Friday afternoonSunday evening or Saturday morningSunday evening)
Covering additional day shifts when needed (e.g. some Fridays 09:0017:00)
Shifts are offered six weeks in advance
Helping with everyday tasks like shopping and cooking
Driving a wheelchair-accessible vehicle
Supporting Boccia training and competitions (full training provided)
Joining in social activities such as football, theatre, concerts and events
Accompanying on work trips, sometimes with overnight stays

Reliable, caring and a good communicator
Physically fit and able to work flexibly
Confident driver with a full clean licence
Sense of humour essential!
Open-minded and happy to learn new skills
Experience is a bonus, but full training will be provided
