Bar & Venue Manager - Botley, Oxford Job Type: Full Time Slice is a brand-new indoor golf simulator venue combining sport, socialising and premium hospitality. We’re creating a space where great golf, great drinks and great atmosphere come together, and we’re looking for a confident, hands-on Bar & Venue Manager to lead operations from launch. This is a leadership role responsible for ensuring the entire guest experience runs smoothly, from first drink to final putt. The Role Oversee day-to-day bar and front-of-house operations Lead, train and motivate the bar team Manage stock control, ordering and supplier relationships Maintain licensing, compliance and health & safety standards Deliver consistently high service standards during peak periods Oversee simulator bookings and customer flow across the venue Demonstrate and explain simulator features to guests Troubleshoot minor simulator issues and escalate where required Help shape the culture, energy and standards of Slice About You Previous bar management or strong supervisory experience Confident leading a team in a fast-paced environment Commercial awareness (GP, wastage, stock control) Comfortable learning and demonstrating technology Confident engaging with customers about golf and gameplay Interest in golf desirable Organised, reliable and proactive Available evenings and weekends What We Offer £28,000–£32,000 per year depending on experience A key leadership role in a growing venue Supportive ownership team Opportunity to build and shape your own team Staff perks and venue discounts
