Category Manager – Footcare, First Aid and Health Checks

From mid‑January we will have an exciting Level 5 vacancy within the Positive Healthcare team looking after Footcare, First Aid and Health Checks categories. These high‑revenue, high‑margin categories play a key role in the Consumer Health & Wellness team, especially during the summer months.
Contract: 12‑month fixed term contract
Location: Nottingham

Responsibilities
* Strategically deliver category plans.
* Build strong relationships with supplier partners to secure new brands.
* Use an entrepreneurial mindset to optimise the P&L.
* Be the category expert – understand current customer needs and future aspirations.
* Lead a team to drive business performance and support their career development.
Qualifications
* Experience building relationships internally and externally, leveraging those relationships to maximise opportunities.
* Strong commercial awareness and ability to translate insights into strategy and trade plans.
* Inspirational leader capable of creating commitment and belief in others.
* Proactive and self‑initiated, consistently pursuing new opportunities.
* Experience with own‑brand and/or branded product management is an advantage.
