Class 2 Driver
Looking for class 2 drivers for my client in Glasgow Ongoing work. Must have a minimum of 6 months experience. You will delivering to stores lots of handballing involved.
£15 ph
Class 2 DriverResponsibilities
* Operate Class 2 vehicles delivering to cash and carrys
* Handballing into stores
* Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects.
* Maintain high standards of safety and customer service.
* Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
* Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing methods are used to prevent damage during transit.
* Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving on public roads.
* Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents immediately to management.
Class 2 DriverQualifications
1. Valid commercial driving licence (C or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
2. Experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
3. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
