The Role of the Shop Manager
Commercially aware, the shop manager is continually looking for new business opportunities. They motivate their team, create a safe and energised work environment, set high standards and drive results. The role is varied, busy and offers the chance to work with amazing people. The manager, often the only paid staff member, works closely with volunteers who run the shop in their absence. Excellent communication, delegation and creativity are essential, as are the ability to attract new supporters every day.
