Your responsibilities
* Appraisal and evaluation of client tender requirements and specifications in bid preparation
* Abstract and report on contractual tender stage information
* Manage tender information efficiently
* Undertaking tender site visits
* Develop subcontract trade package enquiries
* Take off and produce tender stage bills of quantities
* Pricing of tender labour, plant and material rates build ups
* Analysing supply chain enquiries for tender
* Producing tender risk information
* Reporting for tender adjudication
* Communication and handover of estimates
* Early engagement with client teams to provide cost advice
* Providing early stage project cost plans
* Managing client preconstruction phase programme expectations
* Delivering value engineering optioneering
* Managing and reporting tender stage cost controls
* Working within a client collaborative team environment
Ideal Candidate
* Excels in working as part of a team and under own supervision
* Strong time management/ prioritisation skills
* Ability to self motivate and work to deadlines
* Works well under pressure
* Competence in computerised estimating and take-off software and general IT skills
* Industry recognised construction related qualifications.
* Previous experience within a similar role
* Drive and enthusiasm to succeed and improve
