Requirements
Must have:
- Proven experience in user research and user-centred design - Strong understanding of Government Digital Service (GDS) standards - Experience working within Agile teams - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to build relationships and challenge assumptions - Knowledge of inclusive research practices - Experience mentoring and supporting junior researchers
Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, and conduct user research to understand service needs - Translate research insights into actionable recommendations - Apply user-centred design principles to enhance service development - Advise clients on solving complex problems through research and design - Lead Agile teams to develop services that meet user needs - Foster trust and effective communication with clients and stakeholders - Support and mentor colleagues in maximizing user research benefits - Promote best practices in user research across the organization
