Responsibilities
* Safely and efficiently refuel a range of aircraft and ground vehicles, ensuring adherence to operational protocols and safety standards.
* Conduct thorough daily vehicle inspections prior to use, promptly report any faults, and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation for all transport assets.
* As a Driver, you’ll deliver professional driving services and support the Ministry of Defence contract; reporting to the Transport Manager.
This is a full-time, on-site position based at Shawbury, near Shrewsbury in Shropshire. The role offers 37 hours per week on a 52-week fixed-term contract. This position is likely to become a full time permanent position in the future.
Essential experience / Qualifications
* Current driver digital tachograph card.
* Category D – Passenger Carrying Vehicle (PCV) Drivers Licence.
* Ability to obtain and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance.
