What You Will Do:
As the Regional Accounts Manager for the North & Midlands regions, focusing on BMS & Controls, you'll play a pivotal role in our sales strategy. Reporting directly to the UK & ROI Sales Manager, Global Products, you'll be based in Northern England or the North Midlands. Your primary responsibility will be to achieve sales targets within a select network of major Systems Integrators across the BMS & Controls portfolio. This involves operating in Indirect Products Distribution through Channel partners, expanding our market share with existing business customers, including end users, contractors, and consultants. Joining our growing team offers you the opportunity to leverage your experience to generate new business in a vibrant environment.
How You Will Do It:
As an Account Manager, you'll cultivate existing internal channels while developing new relationships. Your role includes supporting Channel Partners in identifying and closing new sales opportunities, showcasing your expertise in differentiating Johnson Controls from competitors. You'll serve as the liaison between Johnson Controls Global Products and our Channel Partners, leading teams to secure wins. Additionally, as a technical consultant, you'll collaborate closely with our Technical Support Manager and National Sales Manager to advise channel partners on integrating our BMS systems with end users’ legacy systems, facilitating product uptake and managing peripherals.
What We Look For:
Required:
9. Bachelor’s Degree/ HND/ OND or equivalent experience in BMS or HVAC Engineering
10. Minimum of 3 years’ UK experience in BMS Controls or HVAC
11. Ability to understand technical requirements of BMS systems and advise on solutions.
12. Proven track record in sales, business development, or account management within the Smart & Integrated Building Solutions market or HVAC industry
13. Determined, results-driven, with strong sales acumen
14. Right to work in the UK
Preferred:
15. Previous experience in Channel Sales
16. Established network of End-user Clients, Consultants, and Influencers
17. Experience in using CRM Databases
18. Leadership skills gained in commercial or community roles.
