How you will make an impact in the role
Cabrini is seeking a Functional Specialist – Administration Applications to support and enhance the webPAS patient administration system and related patient information applications. This role plays a critical part in ensuring these systems remain secure, reliable, and effective, supporting patient safety, care delivery, and efficient hospital operations. You will work closely with clinical teams, Patient Accounts, Patient Services, and Health Funds to resolve service requests, improve workflows, and ensure systems meet operational needs.
What you’ll be doing
1. Design, configure, test, implement, and maintain application enhancements and upgrades.
2. Manage system changes that improve clinical and operational workflows.
3. Maintain system reference data, including billing rates and rebates from Medicare, Health Funds, and private providers.
4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and technology vendors to deliver system improvements and project outcomes.
5. Ensure applications meet availability, security, compliance, and service level requirements.
What we’re looking for
6. Experience in a similar role/comparable sized organisation
7. Extensive experience using or supporting a webPAS system
8. Strong customer/user focused approach
9. Solid problem solving ability to analyse issues effectively
10. Collaborative approach to engage key stakeholders and obtain best outcomes
