A warm, reliable, and experienced nanny is sought for a two-day-per-week position in Battersea, London, caring for 3-month-old twins and a 2.5-year-old girl. The working hours are 8:30am to 6:30pm on Tuesdays and Fridays. The mother is currently at home on maternity leave, so the role will mainly involve shared care, with occasional sole charge when required, for instance looking after the toddler or twins when the mother takes the other out. As the mother gradually transitions back to work from September, the position will evolve into a more sole charge role with increased hours available.
The family live in a lovely, leafy area of London, right next to Battersea Park, providing an ideal setting for outdoor play and activities. The toddler attends nursery during term time, so additional hours will be available during school holidays when all three children are at home.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with both babies and toddlers, with a minimum of two years’ professional nannying. Experience with twins would be a bonus but is not essential. The nanny should be warm, dependable, and happy to get involved, with a proactive “muck-in” attitude, supporting mum and helping the household run smoothly during this busy stage. The family live in a second floor flat, so the nanny needs to be physically able to carry the pram and babies up and down the stairs as there is no lift.
Duties will include all nursery-related responsibilities such as supporting feeding and nap routines, engaging the children in age-appropriate activities, preparing and cooking healthy meals for the children, and managing children’s laundry. Travelling with the family on holidays would be grateful beneficial, if this is something the nanny would be open to.
The role is offered at £23 gross per hour. This is a fantastic position for a nanny seeking a long-term role with a down to earth and happy family.
