Fantastic Office Manager for Growing Architecture Studio
A well‑established Oxford‑based creative practice is seeking a proactive and highly organised Office Manager to play a central role in the day‑to‑day running of the business. This is a varied position combining office operations, finance, HR, project coordination, and business development support.
Working closely with senior leadership, the Office Manager will help ensure smooth operations, support team well‑being, and contribute to the ongoing growth and development of the practice.
Key responsibilities:
* Managing office operations, suppliers, facilities, and landlord liaison
* Overseeing invoicing, payments, bank accounts, VAT, payroll support, and financial reporting
* Supporting HR processes including contracts, recruitment coordination, holidays, and pensions
* Setting up projects, managing contracts, and producing project and resourcing reports
* Coordinating staff events, training, CPDs, and work experience programmes
* Supporting marketing, social media, and business development activity
* Assisting with compliance, IT coordination, and business administration
The successful candidate will have:
* Proven experience in an Office Manager or similar role, ideally within a creative or professional services environment
* Strong financial and organisational skills, with experience using accounting and project management systems (Xero)
* Confidence managing HR processes and supporting senior stakeholders
* A proactive, hands‑on approach and excellent communication skills
