Role Overview:
Seeking an Endur Tech Engineer to work on Front and Mid Office systems for the Power Trading team. Responsibilities include supporting trading decision systems, executing trades, managing risk, and implementing operating models for power assets such as wind, solar, batteries, and CCG power stations. The role involves interfacing new systems and data feeds into existing trading and risk management systems, primarily focusing on implementing changes in Endur (Openlink).
Requirements:
* Hands-on experience with OpenLink Endur, including feature implementation and extension.
* Experience in Physical and Financial Power and Gas Markets.
* Ability to lead as a Business Analyst independently and support team projects.
* Knowledge of trading floor operations across Front/Mid/Back office, with a focus on Front and Mid.
* Expertise in non-linear instruments in Commodity/Energy Trading and their representation in Endur.
* Experience liaising with Traders and Quant developers on option pricing models, including complex cross-commodity options.
* Configuration of Endur for Deal lifecycle, Confirmations, Settlement invoicing, and scheduling.
* Problem-solving skills within change control mechanisms.
* Understanding of Endur Reporting architecture, including risk simulation, APM, TPM, DMS, Connex, and EOD workflows.
* Knowledge of Endur deployment procedures, CMM import/export, and cloud DevOps.
* Experience collaborating with business analysts and traders to gather requirements and design solutions.
* Ability to implement testing regimes to ensure quality.
* Experience working with hybrid teams using Scrum methodology.
* Strong communication skills across complex business environments and stakeholders, including senior executives.
* Familiarity with analytical tools, methodologies, and best practices.
* Excellent analytical skills and structured approach.
* Experience with agile delivery and global power markets.
* Experience in complex contract and power purchase agreement modelling, including deal valuation and asset performance reporting.
* Experience in power asset optimization and tolling agreements modelling.
