Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to work in secondary schools in Wellingborough and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Maths specialist who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and supporting students to achieve their full potential.
We are working with a number of welcoming and supportive schools across Wellingborough, Kettering, Rushden, Northampton, Corby and surrounding areas, offering flexible opportunities including long-term, short-term and daily supply roles.
This position is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are looking to gain valuable experience in a variety of school settings.
The role:
1. Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
2. Plan, prepare and assess work in line with the national curriculum (for long-term roles)
3. Maintain strong classroom behaviour management
4. Support students of different abilities, including those with SEND or SEMH needs
5. Work collaboratively with teaching staff and senior leaders
6. Follow school safeguarding and behaviour policies at all times
The ideal candidate will have:
7. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
8. Experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school
9. Strong behaviour management skills
10. A flexible and positive approach to teaching
11. A current DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
12. The right to work in the UK
