A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Greenwich is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join their KS1 team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced primary teacher looking to take on a new and rewarding Year 1 class.
The role - Year 1 Teacher:
* Deliver engaging and purposeful lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum
* Foster a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment where all children can thrive
* Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and teaching assistants to support individual pupil needs
* Contribute to planning, assessment, and reporting
The ideal Year 1 Teacher will have:
* UK QTS (or pending for ECTs finishing this year)
* A passion for teaching and learning in Key Stage 1
* Knowledge of the Year 1 curriculum and phonics
* A creative and inclusive teaching approach
* Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
