Job Description
Job Duties: As a Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in the classroom by assisting with lesson preparation, classroom activities, and student supervision. You will work with individual students or small groups to provide additional support with learning tasks. Additionally, you may help with administrative tasks and contribute to creating a positive learning environment.
Required Qualifications: A relevant qualification in Education or Teaching Assistance is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team are also required.
Education: A minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths is required. Further qualifications in Education or related fields are desirable.
Experience: Prior experience working in an educational setting, either as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role, is preferred.
Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of educational principles and practises, as well as the ability to build rapport with students, are key. Strong organisational skills and the ability to adapt to different learning styles are also important.
Preferred Qualifications: Any additional qualifications in Special Education Needs (SEN) or First Aid training would be advantageous.
Working Conditions: The role of a Teaching Assistant involves working within school hours, Monday to Friday. You may also be required to attend staff meetings and training sessions outside of regular hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
