Responsibilities
* Provide technical advice on all safety matters and assist in the formulation of Health and Safety strategy with associated policies, procedures and statements of intent.
* Ensure that statutory obligations in respect of Health and Safety are met and maintain a safe working environment for staff, service users and visitors across all services.
* Apply professional expertise to day-to-day operations when required and act as a strong role model in Health & Safety practices.
Qualifications
* NEBOSH accreditation or equivalent qualification.
* Member of a relevant professional body with evidence of continuing training in Health & Safety.
* Commitment to ongoing updating of knowledge in Health & Safety.
* Full driving licence and full comprehensive business insurance cover.
