Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Domiciliary Medication trained workers to join our team in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in domiciliary care and a strong background in administering medication.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide high quality care and support to older adults in their homes.
2. Administer medication as prescribed and ensure accurate record keeping.
3. Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and companionship.
4. Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health and wellbeing.
5. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
6. Previous experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker with medication administration.
7. Hold a clean driving license.
8. SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (preferred).
9. Minimum of 3 months experience working with older adults in Scotland.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
12. Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
