My client is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Learning and Development Manager to join a prestigious global law firm and support their Business Services population. As a key member of the Human Resources team, you will play a critical role in designing and delivering comprehensive training programs across blended learning methods, with a particular focus on face-to-face training.
Responsibilities:
* Develop a strategic learning and development plan tailored to the needs of the Business Services population.
* Design, deliver, and evaluate training programs utilizing blended learning approaches, including virtual sessions, e-learning modules, and other innovative methods.
* Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging and impactful learning content.
* Ensure training programs align with the firm's strategic goals and objectives, as well as industry best practices.
* Oversee the training budget, track expenditures, and optimize resources to maximize training effectiveness.
* Monitor and assess training outcomes to measure the success of programs and identify areas for improvement.
* Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the organization.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify learning and development needs and tailor programs accordingly.
* Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in learning and development methodologies.
* Act as a consultant and advisor to senior leaders and managers on learning and development initiatives.
* Work closely with the Head of Learning to develop the firms training strategies and goals
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
* Proven experience (5+ years) in a learning and development role, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
* Strong background in designing and delivering training programs utilizing blended learning approaches, with a focus on face-to-face training.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences at all levels of the organization.
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and vendors.
* Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
* Proficient in learning management systems and e-learning authoring tools.
* Knowledge of current learning and development trends, best practices, and industry regulations.
* Professional certifications in learning and development or related fields are desirable.
