Key duties and responsibilities
* Manage a mixed case load of insolvency appointments and assist team members
* Administer insolvency cases from initial advice to case closure, including Administrations, CVLs, MVLs, Liquidations, CVAs, and occasionally, Bankruptcies
* Address creditors’ claims, including secured, preferential, and unsecured claims
* Report to secured creditors
* Assist in ongoing trading on-site as needed
* Prepare documentation for statutory meetings
* Assist employees with claims and liaise with redundancy payments services
* Handle correspondence and prepare accurate books and records
* Conduct statutory investigations and pursue antecedent transactions
* Process estate monies correctly through banking and cheque requests
* Complete VAT and Corporation tax returns
* Ensure compliance with legislation including SIPS
* Maintain case diaries and case checklists
* Liaise with professional agents, solicitors, and accountants
* Prepare supporting documents for sales contracts
* Attend meetings and participate in marketing events
* Delegate tasks and support junior staff
Reporting, relationships & management
* Support and train staff, delegate tasks to assistants
* Assist other case executives as required
* Report case progress to IP
Qualifications & experience
* AAT or CPI qualification is advantageous but not mandatory
* Experience with corporate insolvency appointments in an IP firm required
* Knowledge of IPS Cloud is beneficial
* Proficient in Excel, Word, and IPS
* High professional standards and conduct
* Self-motivated and proactive about legislation changes
* Excellent organizational and communication skills
* Responsible, reliable, and able to meet deadlines
* Enthusiastic and committed to tasks and team collaboration
