This vacancy offers flexibility to be based at either Bognor Regis War Memorial Hospital or Brighton General Hospital, giving you the choice of location that works best for you.
As a Mechanical Gas Engineer, You Will
* Carry out installation, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs on a range of gas-fired systems and equipment, including boilers, water heaters, and catering appliances.
* Perform planned preventative maintenance across SCFT and other local organisations we support.
* Support apprentices and semi-skilled colleagues with advice and guidance.
* Use a variety of digital and analogue testing tools and update statutory records.
* Work flexibly across Trust sites, with mileage reimbursed, and participate in an on-call rota for additional pay.
* Help create and maintain our preventative maintenance schedules, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Be part of a team that values innovation, technical skill, and excellent service delivery.
