* Location: Newcastle upon Tyne, NE2 2AD
* Working hours: 9.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday (one day per week until 6.30pm), 1 in 3 Saturdays, 9.00am – 4.00pm
* Competitive basic with £26,000 - £32,000 OTE

The Role
Reporting to the Assistant Head of Sales and Lettings, the Sales and Lettings Negotiator will play a key role in driving residential property sales and lettings across Newcastle.
Key Responsibilities
* Answer enquiries by phone and email
* Match applicants with properties based on their requirements
* Ensure all GDPR processes are carried out correctly
* Send out property details to applicants
* Contact vendors and complete AML
* Book and conduct sales and lettings viewings
* Provide correct notice for tenanted/occupied properties
* Negotiate offers on properties for sale and let
* Agree sales for properties, request proof of funds, supporting documents and solicitors’ details
* Work to agreed targets and deadlines, reporting daily results to the Assistant Head of Sales and Lettings
* Keep up to date with operational updates and other company communications
* Stay aware of legislative changes within the sales and lettings industry and within the company
* Liaise directly with vendors and landlords on a weekly basis
* Exceed customer service expectations
* Complete tasks set as part of a negotiator’s daily role
Requirements & Qualifications
* Ideal: property background with experience in the lettings industry; full training will be provided if not
* Ability to provide excellent customer service
* High level of organisational skills and attention to detail
* Passion for people and property
* Ability to thrive in a busy and demanding environment
* Clear salary progression from the outset
* OTE of up to £32,000
* Support towards Level 3 ARLA Residential Lettings and Property Management qualification
* Support towards The Sale of Residential Property examinations
