Engineer
Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 OTE

Our client, a leading engineering and manufacturing business, based in the Cambridgeshire area, are seeking a skilled and motivated Service and Commissioning Engineer.
In this vital role, you will be responsible for the installation, testing, and commissioning of complex equipment and systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will directly contribute to delivering high-quality service, fostering customer satisfaction, and supporting the ongoing success of projects.

Key responsibilities
6. Perform installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.
7. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues during commissioning and post-installation phases.
8. Collaborate with project teams, clients, and vendors to ensure timely and successful system implementation.
9. Provide technical support and training to clients and internal staff.
10. Prepare detailed documentation, including commissioning reports, technical manuals, and service logs.
11. Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
12. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering disciplines.
13. Proven experience in commissioning and service engineering, preferably within the industrial or automation sectors.
14. Strong understanding of control systems, electrical wiring, and system integration.
15. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
16. Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and team members.
17. Willingness to travel and work on-site as required.
