Your new company
I am currently partnered with a boutique property consultancy based in the city that is looking to expand its Residential Property Management team by adding 2 positions, ranging from Junior to Senior Property Manager. The role involves managing a portfolio of privately rented residential properties across London. The company offers support, career progression, training, a great office environment in newly refurbished offices, and opportunities for professional development.
Your new role
* Managing and overseeing a Private Rented Sector Property (PRS) Portfolio across London.
* Ensuring high occupancy rates and optimal rental yields through day-to-day management.
* Coordinating maintenance, repairs, refurbishments, and overseeing third-party contractors and service providers.
* Managing the full tenancy lifecycle for AST properties.
* Developing strong relationships with landlords, tenants, investors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
* Conducting regular property inspections and reports.
* Monitoring rent payments and following up on arrears according to company policy.
* Liaising with tenants and guarantors to resolve payment issues.
* Overseeing compliance records using property management software.
* Mentoring and supporting junior team members where relevant.
What you'll need to succeed
* 1-5 years of property management experience.
* ARLA Level 3 qualification.
* Strong understanding of technical and statutory legislation.
* Experience managing rental income, budgets, arrears, and operational expenses.
