About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our Southern Region, based at Thames Valley, covering projects in Reading, Southampton, and Bath. The role involves working in preconstruction and managing a team on-site with projects ranging from £40-100m. Experience in build-to-rent and PBSA is preferred.
This is a full-time, permanent role, ideally 42.5 hours over 5 days per week, starting at 8:30 am and ending at 5:30 pm.
Duties of the Role:
* Promote and achieve early resolution of problems.

* Resolve legal matters.

* Ensure accurate reporting.
* Maintain client relationships as a top priority.
* Maintain a high level of control.
* Provide commercial support and advice to Contracts Managers/Operations Directors.
* Implement industry regulations.
* Monitor progress and improve processes.
* Report team performance to regional Directors.
* Audit and approve reports and payments prior to final sign-off.
* Clarify financial aspects of contracts.
* Manage tender bids and contract documentation.
* Manage and mentor team members.
* Perform other duties related to company objectives or personal development.
