We're actively recruiting for an experienced Technical Support Engineer to join our clients busy team based in Burntwood on a permanent basis. Please note- a good knowledge of AutoCAD & Solidworks is essential for this role. About the Role: We're looking for a proactive and technically minded engineer to provide both technical and commercial support to our clients internal teams and customers. Youll play a key role in delivering bespoke engineered solutionsguiding products from concept through to manufacturewhile ensuring customer requirements are met in line with cost, quality and delivery targets. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical advice and product specification support to clients Resolve technical queries and propose cost-effective solutions Create detailed CAD drawings and engineering documentation Collaborate with production teams to bring products from concept to manufacture Ensure projects meet client expectations within agreed timelines and budgets Contribute to departmental output aligned with company quality standards Support continuous improvement of processes, safety and productivity What Youll Bring: Background in using AutoCAD and SolidWorks software Degree in Engineering or similar technical qualification Proven ability to read and produce technical drawings Excellent verbal and written communication skills Customer-first mindset with a professional, ethical approach Strong interpersonal skills to engage with a broad range of stakeholders IT proficiency including Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and SolidWorks Self-motivated, with a collaborative team spirit Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively Working hours - 37 hours per week: Monday to Thursday 08:45 - 17:00 Friday 08:45 - 16:30 Benefits: 25 days holiday statutory holidays Access to a leading wellbeing platform inclduing retail discounts Profit related bonus Free parking Interviews are to be held as soon as possible so please apply now.
