Disciplines
* CNC Turning
* CNC Milling (5 Axis & Horizontal)
* CNC Grinding
Responsibilities
* Oversee machinery setup and operate machines
* Load materials and unload finished products
* Adjust speeds, cutter paths and other machine settings as required
* Follow technical drawings, working to customer tolerances
* Follow procedures and safety guidelines, including company procedures, operating standards, and process documentation
* Maintain an accurate log of production and equipment problems, adjustments, and repairs; perform machine inspections for mechanical or safety issues
* Ensure machines are well stocked with tools and materials to minimise downtime
* Maintain a safety focus to ensure themselves and others are safe around operational machinery
* Be flexible to support production requirements during busier periods
Qualifications & Experience
* Time served CNC Machinist
* Experience in Turning, Grinding, Horizontal Milling or 5-Axis Milling
* Ability to read technical drawings
* Experience of working to high quality standards on precision components
* Knowledge of safety and manufacturing regulations and procedures
Skills & Behaviours
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to follow instructions
