Conveyancing Solicitor
Abacus is working with an excellent practice in Derry who wish to hire a Residential Property solicitor. You will join an established and expanding team in the North West who offer excellent leadership, a strong client base, a supportive culture, an attractive office and career progression.
Responsibilities
You will manage a busy residential conveyancing desk and if you have the skills or interest you will access some private client files.
* Handling property transactions from instruction through to completion
* Managing sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and land registrations
* Liaising with clients, lenders, estate agents, and other solicitors
* Fulfil legal and compliance requirements.
Private Client / Probate workstream
* Drafting wills and trusts
* Administering estates
* Advising on wills, POA and inheritance planning.
Requirements
* Solicitor with min 18 months PQE and further experience is welcomed
* Knowledge and experience of private client files is an advantage
* Strong organisational and case management skills
* Excellent communication and client care abilities
* Positive attitude to learn and develop
* Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
