Post Office Manager - Grantham. Location: Dysart Road Post Office, Grantham. £27,500 per annum plus great benefits. Permanent.
We’re looking for a Post Office Manager to join our team. Our branches are an integral part of our business and the local community. You’ll manage the entire post office operation, inspiring, coaching and creating a collaborative working partnership with colleagues in the post office and store.
What you’ll do
* develop, lead and inspire a team of post office clerks
* ensure the branch is safe, legal and operational, complying with all legal compliance regulatory procedures and processes
* report on balance, cash and sales
* drive commercial growth, engage the team and communicate performance
* role model excellent customer service to colleagues
* build enthusiasm with your team and help develop external relationships and involvement in the local community
* support and build strong working relationships with colleagues in the food store
What this role would suit
* previously worked in a post office, managing legal compliance
* experience in a fast-paced customer service environment, preferably in retail
* proven experience managing or supervising a team, focusing on development and performance
* knowledge of Horizon system (cash and stock control systems and workforce planning tools)
* strong communication and organisation skills
* focus on continuous improvement while managing a budget
* passion for working with the local community
