As a Class 1 Driver, you will:
* Operate a Class 1 vehicle safely and professionally, complying with all local and national transport regulations.
* Complete scheduled UK-wide collection and delivery routes, ensuring punctual, efficient, and reliable service.
* Carry out thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle checks, reporting any defects in line with company and legal requirements.
* Secure loads correctly using ratchet straps and safe manual handling techniques to protect goods and ensure safe transit.
* Use a handheld PDA to complete all delivery and collection documentation quickly and accurately.
* Communicate regularly with the transport team, providing progress updates and supporting smooth operational flow.
* Liaise professionally with customers both in person and over the phone to maintain excellent service standards.
* Take part in regular training sessions to stay current with industry standards and continuously develop your skills.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 CE Licence, ready to take on the open road with confidence.
* Possess a current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card, ensuring you're always compliant and prepared.
* Bring your passion for delivering exceptional customer service, making every interaction count.

* Be a confident, polite, and collaborative team player, contributing to a positive work environment.
* Have excellent geographical knowledge, navigating routes with ease and precision.
