We are looking for
an enthusiastic, innovative and adaptable Clinical Psychologist keen to develop experience, knowledge and skills in working in cancer services. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a thriving health psychology service to provide assessment, formulation and interventions in innovative and compassionate ways in an acute health setting.
Psychological Health Services is an award-winning department, recognised for a commitment to leadership and the development of Trustwide psychological services. As a university teaching trust research and quality improvement forms part of UHBW's mission to support excellence in delivery of patient care, alongside education and applied research of the highest quality.
Provide specialist psychological services, including assessment, development and implementation of psychological interventions for people over the age of 16 affected by cancer, and their family members and supporters.
Provide specialist psychological advice, consultation, training and supervision for other professionals working across these care pathways as assigned by the Lead for BHOC Psychological Health Services (PHS) or Head of Services.
Undertake or support research and audit relevant to these care pathways.
Propose changes for service development, guidelines and protocols relevant to psychological health across these care pathways to the Lead for BHOC PHS or Head ofServices.
