A thriving mainstream secondary school in the heart of Poole is seeking to appoint a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join their dedicated team from September onwards. Working as a Cover Supervisor in a secondary school setting involves delivering pre-set work to students in the absence of their usual classroom teacher. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong presence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively while maintaining a calm and professional approach.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervising lessons across a range of subjects in the absence of teaching staff
Ensuring students remain on task and follow school expectations
Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Supporting students in their learning as required
Assisting with administrative tasks and cover logistics when needed
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience working with young people, preferably in a school or educational setting
Be confident in leading a classroom and managing behaviour independently
Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
