TREATMENT ROOM NURSE (GP Surgery) Belfast | Permanent | 16 hours pw Salary - £36,000 - £38,000 (pro rata depending on experience) Cherryvalley Group Practice is a 5 partner General Practice Surgery located in Kings Square, East Belfast. We provide a full range of general medical services. We aim to offer the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare to our 7,000 patients. We currently have a position for a Treatment Room Nurse to join our clinical team, on a permanent basis. We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic person to provide and maintain a high standard of nursing care and assistance to our patients and Doctors. This is a superb opportunity for someone starting out or wanting to develop their skills in general practice alongside a highly experienced team. A flexible attitude to work and the ability to work well within a team and independently is required, along with the following Essential Criteria: Registered General Nurse (RGN) Part 1of the professional register. Current registration with NMC. Competent in the use of clinical computer software. Understanding the principles of clinical governance and evidence of best practice. Experience in communicating with multi professional groups including Service Users. Desirable Criteria Previous experience working in Primary care Experience in venepuncture, urinalysis, wound management, ear syringing, BP monitoring and/or injections.
