JOB TITLE: MANAGER - CONSTRUCTION
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for the Construction delivery of the project.
2. Responsible for the safe delivery of the project.
3. Ensure that competent personnel are employed both onshore and offshore and that progress and productivity are maintained at an acceptable level in line with the project schedule.
4. Deliver the project in line with the EPS BMS (Business Management System) and in accordance with relevant Petrofac / project procedures.
5. Maintain active development and involvement as a member of Petrofac’s Project Management Academy and Centre of Excellence.
6. Promote awareness of Health, Safety, Environmental, Integrity & Quality aspects of discipline of work to achieve fit-for-purpose engineering.
7. To ensure that the project generated planning documentation reflects a fit-for-purpose design and complies with the contract requirements.
8. Promote Petrofac values and Golden Rules
9. Adhere to Petrofac code of business conduct
10. To lead the Onshore and Offshore multi discipline team in Construction project delivery
11. Ensure company BMS processes and procedures are adhered to.
12. Input Construction Management and Technical expertise to the Engineering process
13. Ensure all Construction workpacks for the project, are compiled to company / project specific procedures
14. Ensure integrity certification is implemented and followed.
15. Ensure all Construction sub-contractors on project are managed
16. Ensure Management of Change process is adhered to
17. Ensure all project Plant and Equipment is maintained through the PEDs system and correct certification in place
18. Ensure onshore and offshore resource requirements for project are planned in a timely manner
19. Ensure Company competency programme (Skillcomp) for offshore employees is maintained
20. Ensure onshore and offshore inductions are completed for all Construction project personnel
21. Ensure company Skills Assessment Questionnaire process is complete for all onshore / offshore personnel prior to mobilisation
22. Ensure manning year plan is regularly updated
23. Assist with Interviews when required
24. Capable of discharging responsibilities to key project individuals
25. Capable of completing project construction estimates for new projects
26. Capable of facilitating constructability review meeting for project delivery

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
44. Complete and sign off all Construction estimates for project
45. Ensure Construction productivity both onshore and offshore is in line with the project schedule
46. Ensure Construction non-productive time offshore is in line with the project estimate
47. Experience in an offshore supervisory position
48. Experience in an onshore management position
49. Technical Qualification HNC standard or equivalent
